An Aston Martin 2 Litre Sports / DB1 REGISTER

In this page, we'll try to gather some information about the 2 Litre Sports soon renamed DB1 after DB2 production...
TO BE HONEST, THIS IS MORE A PICTORIAL REVIEW THAN A REGISTER !

As I wrote in the Washboard Register page, David Brown bought the Aston Martin works and produced the 2 litre Sports from the Atom prototype. Claude Hill was chief manager and told in  The Power Behind Aston Martin book: "The DB1 was entirely my car. I was, and still am, intensely pround of it, although there were several design features which I would not have know, such as the long wheelbase - nine feet [roughly 2,75m]  - and the narrow track. But the idea was to make a luxurious, quiet sports car, and I think we succeeded".

PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO SEND CONTIBUTIONS !
