This one is not a "washboard" DB2 but LML/50/148, a Cuban DB2 brought in Germany ...
The story is truly amazing and a labour of love!

Here is a period photo of a Belgium washboard DB2 DHC. Driven by Janssen in the 1954 12 Heures de Huy in Belgium. Photo found on a French topic about this race.
This one is now identified as LML/50/42. Thanks JLB.

Seen on eBay : wing mirrors very peculiar... Also, note fog lamps.

The colour looks like Cadillac green and the fog lamps are the same used in the USA. Maybe that's LML/50/14.
