LAG/48/04

Fantastic find in Thoroughbred & Classic Cars, April 1990.
A LAGONDA PROTOTYPE WITH COTAL GEARBOX !!!!

Chassis is believed to be 24 and engine 12 but that sounds a bit weird.

THIS IS SURELY LAG/48/04 WITH ENGINE LB6/48/12.

Full history:

LAG/49/22

Engine LB6/49/33
Seen on eBay motors with following description:
"Up for bid is a 1949 lagonda.  This is a very rare car.  Needs complete restoration.  Aluminum body in good condition overall, one ding in front left fender.  Chassis is straight, no sign of a major accident.
The DOHC 2.6 L engine is complete.  This is the same engine design as the Aston Martin."

Sold for $11,000.
Very tempting but much restoration work needed.
